Diana Diroy was a Spring 2007 Chips Quinn Scholar at The Oakland (Calif.) Tribune. A graduate of San Jose State University, she shares images and sounds (please allow file to load before playing) taken at orientation and throughout her internship in Oakland. Diroy has been an intern at Silicon Valley Community Newspapers. In 2005 she was a staff photographer for San Jose State University’s student newspaper, The Spartan Daily. During fall semester 2004 she was Skyline College’s Skyline View photo editor, photographer and writer.
